Rod Hairston

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Is one of the fastest growing authorities in America in the area of organizational performance and human potential. He is a dynamic and entertaining speaker with an outstanding ability to inspire and stimulate people to action. He is also the author of a book based on the 45-Day Challenge.

Rod started his training career in the United States Military Naval Special Warfare. As a trainer of communications for the Elite Navy SEALs, he was intrigued with the people in Special Operations; how they thought, acted and dealt with stressful and dangerous situations. Working with the CIA, DEA, Navy Seals, and many other elite groups, his mission has been to bring the mindset of the best people in these units to the people fortunate enough to hear his message.

Rod is the CEO and Chairman of Envision U, a dynamic coaching and training company that's internationally known for it's 45-Day Challenge series, the best integration program in the market. After 11 years of active military, Rod spent the next eight working with one of the most famous performance coaches in the world: Anthony Robbins. As Master trainer, Rod has presented several major programs for Robbins including "Discovery Camp," where Rod and his highly trained staff provided personal development sessions to 400 teenagers representing 4 different nations. This highly acclaimed program has been considered by the Discovery Channel and HBO family to be the basis for a documentary on successful youth leadership programs. Due to its success, in July of 2003, Rod again managed staff and served as lead presenter and facilitator for Discovery Camp 2003 for over 1000 teenagers.

Rod is an avid believer that: "The life you have, you've created – with your thinking and emotions." One of his favorite sayings is: "what's hard to do in the beginning is easy to live with in the end." And he believes that a person should be most concerned with the habits they create for their life; the habits of thinking, feeling (emotion) and acting (behavior).

Rod Hairston's focus is performance and leadership development. He has also designed and delivered sales training, presentation and influence training, management training, team building and strategic planning.

Edgar Johns

Chief Operating Officer

Edgar is a measurement and assessment specialist. He has been working in the fields of organizational development, human resource development, and research & development for more than 26 years.

He is the author or co-author of several psychological tests, books, book chapters, and research reports. Prior to joining Envision-U, he was Director of Research for Obik, LLC (Princeton, NJ), Vice President of R&D at Human Synergistics, Inc (Plymouth, MI), and a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Personality and Ability Testing (Champaign, IL).

Edgar has worked with a variety of organizations in the public and private sectors to improve their performance at the individual, team and organizational levels. He specializes in creating custom assessments for recruitment, placement, and development.

Edgar Johns has a Masters degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University and has completed his Ph.D. coursework in Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois.

Matthew Dunn

Vice President Training

Matthew comes to Envision U with over six years of executive coaching experience. Before joining Envision U, in February of 2002, he founded his own coaching firm: Executive Resources Group, Inc.

Prior to this, he spent three years working for Robbins Research International where In addition to individual master coaching, he held a management role involving mentoring and development of other results coaches; and serving on the coaching management team, which worked on direction, systems, and process for the coaching division.

From 1992 until December of 98, Matthew worked for Best Buy Co. as a National Corporate Training Manager. In this role, he designed, developed, and implemented national sales management certification programs; developed retail management skills and advanced sales skills curriculums, as well as served as an internal consultant for corporate and retail initiatives. Initiatives involving: performing needs assessment & curriculum design and special projects including company strategic initiatives as requested by vice-presidents, directors or regional teams.

Lorraine Lovett

Chief Creative Director

Lorraine serving as Chief Creative Director specializes in designing and implementing creative concepts for the Envision-U team. Her work helps turn ideas into new Envision-U programs that guide people to improve the quality of both their professional and personal lives.

She is heavily involved with creating and managing the content for the 45-Day Challenge series, and managing the development and implementation of the Envision-U ACE Leadership Coaching System. She also worked closely with Rod completing his latest book, Are You up for the Challenge?

Lorraine has a B.S. degree in Chemistry from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and 10 years of quality assurance and technical writing experience in the pharmaceuticals field. She is a skilled results coach with strong coaching experience, both as an Envision-U Advisor and as a Trainer for Anthony Robbins. She has helped thousands of people transform their lives in all areas.

Tonia Revere

Programs Director

Tonia Revere serves as our Programs Director. She has 13 years experience in positions of management, corporate training, sales, counseling, coaching, and emceeing. Along with her work experience, she offers much strength to the organization in her various communication and marketing skills: writing, editing, event/agenda coordination and program/product analysis and development. She received her B.A. degree from Oakland University in English with a concentration in Education and Communications.
