45 Day Challenge

Thank you so much for the opportunity to do the 45 Day Challenge. I am extremely grateful to you for bringing it to me. It was easy to follow and execute. You designed it brilliantly. I never had to figure out how to use the book or to do the exercises. I specifically liked the fact that you had examples every day when you gave us exercises to do. I never had to sit with a blank page and figure out what to write.

Every day I see the value that it created for me. I have designed much better work habits. I am more productive and, more importantly, I feel more productive. My sales went up and my business took off at the time I did the program. Not a coincidence!

I have found myself more even tempered. I learned how better to manage my emotions through the program. I noticed recently that I don't worry much anymore. I'm not clear when that shifted, but it was sometime during the program.

I want all my clients to do the program, too. I believe that it would underline and anchor the work we are doing for them.

I took the 45 Day Challenge just for the fun of it. I figured that since I am a Professional Performance Coach, there was not much for me to learn in a program like this or even to motivate a motivator. Boy, was I wrong! First, I did the assignments every morning. I was never a "Morning person" when it came to exercising. I started running first thing in the morning starting on the 5th day and ran every day thereafter. I woke up everyday wanting to run and do the assignments in the book. I loved this program and I did not want to stop.

As a coach I know that individual one on one coaching is important to achieve your outcomes and stay focused on your destiny. The 45 Day Challenge does more and gets more results faster because it is everyday and the once a week group calls were an awesome boost. Coaching over the phone is only 2-3 times a month and cannot cover all the subjects that the challenge does and keep you motivated each day. As soon as I started drinking my water every day giving up Soda pop was simple. I have not had any Pop since October 29th (Day 3 of the challenge). I have more energy and less Neck and back pain (like I said it was the least important outcome), but it actually meant a lot to me! Thank you very much!

I am really enjoying the program. I get great value from the Monday theme calls. I think they are a great way to start out the week. Of all of the things we have spoke about I have found the most value in the 5 Rs. Reconditioning is the most important R to me. Developing new habits that help me reach my desired results is HUGE! I have a tendency to get too intense during the day and shift to anger, which is not a big help to maintaining a productive environment. In place of getting angry I have made the conscious decision to remind myself that an angry environment is counter-productive and I stop and speak to the potential of my people.

The archetypes have also been great. I just read about each one and I think about the times I use each..... the weak magician is one I tend to go to...... still working on that! I also appreciate answering the 3 questions- why is it important that I am becoming the, what am I grateful for and what am I proud of.

The biggest thing that I have learned was the way that I communicate as a leader. I know have to be more external in my communicating with my team. I also like the balance aspect of the program, it definitely brings a little consistency in my life.

Mainly - better planning in my day leads to less stress. Better eating and drinking more water leads to more energy. Less stress and more energy = a better way that I show up each day to the team. The leadership challenge has helped me focus better on the "important but unurgent". This helps me be more proactive, less reactive. Usually I function in the important but urgent phase and projects/strategy doesn't get much attention. Lastly, changing archetypes (like trying the lover) has really drawn positive feedback from my team members.
